Cancer Program
NACCHO brought together ACCHOs, community and creative partners to co-design, develop and deliver a suite of culturally grounded cancer education and awareness resources for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. The resources are designed to support stronger understanding and culturally safe conversations across the full cancer continuum, from prevention and screening through to diagnosis, treatment, healing and end-of-life care.
The resources cover the four priority cancers, specific resources for the National Lung Cancer Screening Program for health professionals and participants, as well as a broader suite of general cancer resources to support ongoing cancer awareness across settings and community needs.
Access resources online: Digital versions of all cancer resources are available via NACCHO's LMS. ACCHOs can download digital files and adapt them to meet their community's needs.
Ordering hard copies: Resources are free for ACCHOs. When registering and checking out, please complete all required fields. Delivery addresses must be a physical address (PO Boxes cannot be accepted).
Contact: If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Cancer Team at cancer.team@naccho.org.au.
